My research project: 

What are the effects of alcohol intoxications on language?

Language is the most important communication tool that we have. I chose this research question because we are at the age when most of us experiment with alcohol so it's a subject that interests many young people. I think it's very important to know what alcohol does to us and I'm very interested in that myself so I saw a great opportunity to link it to language. Are we going to talk differently? Are we going to use different words? Are our sentences still correct? Can we still communicate efficiently? And what are the effects on social conditions? These are all questions that concern me and that I would love to research. If we know the effects on language, we can also look for treatments, which is in my opinion very important.
